The Orofacial Pain Association of the Philippines successfully conducted its 2nd Journal Presentation via Zoom Webinar on April 26, 2026, bringing together clinicians, researchers, educators, and members dedicated to advancing the science and practice of orofacial pain management. Moderated by Dr. Wilfredo Rivera, the academic event featured six evidence-based presentations that explored emerging concepts in temporomandibular disorders (TMD), pain neuroscience, physical therapy, chronobiology, and psychological approaches to pain care.

Presenters included Dr. Jeddu Paulo MigriƱo on social media–based pain neuroscience education for TMD, Dr. Patricia Dellosa on rethinking occlusal splint therapy in TMD management, and Dr. Hazzel Paul Brosas who discussed evidence regarding dry needling in the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders. Additional presentations were delivered by Dr. Allan Reyes on the role of physical therapy in orofacial pain, Dr. Jessy Joie Domagsang on the influence of circadian rhythms and molecular clocks on trigeminal pain conditions, and Dr. Dave Dalida on psychological considerations in the management of orofacial pain. The webinar underscored OPAP’s commitment to fostering continuing professional development, promoting evidence-based clinical practice, and strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration in the diagnosis and management of orofacial pain conditions throughout the Philippines.
